Before you use Zoom video calls for a virtual appointment, you must configure the Zoom integration for ezyVet. 

To configure the integration, you must have the correct permissions. If necessary, speak to your practice manager.
Note: For more information about ezyVet's virtual appointment feature, refer to Virtual appointments.

1. Select ADMIN.

2. Select Integration.


ezyVet shows the New Integration Setting interface.

3. In the Integration box, select Zoom.


4. In the For Division box, select the applicable department.


5. Select SAVE.


6. Select CONNECT ZOOM ACCOUNT.


ezyVet shows a Zoom sign-in page in a new browser window:


7. Enter your Zoom account username and password, then select Sign In.

If your account username and password is correct, ezyVet shows Zoom Account Status: Connected:


ezyVet also shows the connected Zoom account name in the Users section:


Set a default call password

You can also set a default password that ezyVet will use for all call participants:

If you set Password required to YES in the configuration of the virtual appointment, the password that you enter when you make a virtual appointment overrides this setting. For more information, refer to Configure a Zoom virtual appointment type.
Animal NameCall participants must enter a password to connect. The password is the name of the animal that is related to the virtual appointment.

Contact NameCall participants must enter a password to connect. The password is the name of the contact that is related to the virtual appointment.
