Overview

The Heska Imaging (SPI) integration is a new integration that will replace the existing Cuattro integration in ezyVet.

This guide details the instructions to ensure for a successful transition and minimal downtime.


Please be advised, Part 1 and Part 2 will be done by the ezyVet API Team and Heska Team.

Part I: Configuring the API Partner (Heska Imaging) Integration


1. Navigate to ADMIN

2. Using the drop-down menu on the left, select Integration.

3. On the main page, use the Integration drop-down/search to find API Partner.

When you select API Partner, an extra section will appear called API Partner Settings.

4. Under the Partner drop-down, select Heska Imaging



5. Click SAVE to save the integration.

6. Upon saving, credentials will be generated and the list of scopes will be displayed. Under the Scopes section, click the green 'Select All' button to enable all scopes.



7. Click SAVE again. 




Part 2: Send the API Partner (Heska Imaging) Client Credentials to Heska


1. Go to the API Partner (Heska Imaging) setting that was created from Part 1.




2. Click the 'Download Credentials' button to download the client credentials for this API Partner integration.


3. You will download a .txt file which will contain the below information:


4. Please email this .txt as an attachment to imagingsupport@heska.com and mention that this is for the Heska Imaging integration with ezyVet.


5. Heska will reply with a confirmation that the API Partner Client Credentials have been set up on their end. This set up must be done in order for Heska to send results back successfully through the new Heska Imaging integration. Only when this is done, it is safe to proceed with Part 3 of the transition process.




Part 3: Disable the existing Cuattro Integration



Warning: This part will be done with the assistance of both ezyVet and the Heska Imaging team. Please be advised that you may expect to see up to an hour downtime of the Cuattro integration and is advised to do this step during a quieter hour at the clinic.



1. Email imagingsupport@heska.com to upgrade the Cuattro machine to the new version. The rest of the steps can be done in conjunction to this.



2. Go to the existing Cuattro integration setting by going to Admin -> Integration -> Integrations


3. Make a note of the For Division (if applicable), Supplier record, Username and API Key values as this will be needed for the new Heska Imaging integration.




4. Disable the Cuattro integration




Part 4: Configuring the Heska Imaging (SPI) Integration


Warning: This part will be done with the assistance of both ezyVet and the Heska Imaging team. Please be advised that you may expect to see up to an hour downtime of the Cuattro integration and is advised to do this step during a quieter hour at the clinic.


1. Go to Admin -> Integration -> Integrations.


2. From the drop down (of the new integration settings tab) choose 'Heska Imaging (SPI)'



3. Select the Division (if applicable) to be what it was in the old Cuattro integration. See part 3 step 2.


4. Select the supplier to be what it was in the old Cuattro integration. See part 3 step 2.


5. Under the 'API Partner' section, search for 'API Partner (Heska Imaging)'. This is the integration created in part 1.


6. Under the 'HeskaImaging Integration Settings', set the Client ID and Client Secret to be the Username and Api Key from the old Cuattro integration setting. See part 3 step 2.

Set the Grant Type to be 'client_credentials'


 

7. Click SAVE


8. Set the 'Modality' under 'HeskaImaging Integration Settings'. You will need to click the modality list once, to generate the list of available modality. Then you will need to click the drop-down again and pick the modality '[DX] Digital Radiography'





9Click SAVE


10Click 'Validate Credentials' and ensure the credentials validate. If it doesn't, it is likely that one of the Client ID, Client Secret or Grant Type are incorrect.


11. You have now completed the integration configuration in ezyVet.


12. Ensure you get a confirmation from Heska that the Cuattro machine has been updated as done by Part 3 Step 1.
